Need help finding a basic networking course

I am looking for an online networking course that is 1 - very basic, covering terminology, etc and 2 - affordable (better yet free but the 40 dollars I see for most here is ok).

This would be to help some stuff to just gain a better understanding of the networking picture overall, terms like Netbios, work group, domain, etc.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

doing well. every time i see that image of you with the question mark, i think of the picture of you that we had on the community center page - oh so long ago! did you end up signing up for this course? Let us know how it's going. Would be nice to know if others are also taking it.

Wow, I remember that picture. Boy that was about 25 pounds ago emoticon .

I have not gotten a chance to look at the course as we have soo much going on here with a carpet project starting up - tomorrow actually. Busy busy.

If you remember, I was hesitant to send in the picture for the spotligh, ha ha.

I did have my tech sign up for the course. It was a good overview, maybe a bit on the basic side, but if you are don't know a lot about networking it would be a good start.

I did add an av ... but still no real picture. Will work on it.
